I’m a relational, integrative counsellor and psychotherapist based in West Yorkshire.

Welcome, I’m Ginny.

My practice

My Ethos

My practice is built out of an anti-oppressive, inclusive and neuro-affirming ethos.

I’m here to meet you exactly as you are.

All parts of your identity – gender, sexuality, race, cultural background, neurotype, faith, disability – are welcome, valued and respected.

Our work is about authenticity, not performativity – there’s space for challenge, humour, tears, silence, sarcasm, or swearing. You don’t need to use “therapy-speak.”

Relational

To me, working relationally means:

  • Our relationship matters – how we connect is a key part of the process

  • A safe, trusting connection – healing often happens through feeling truly seen, heard, and understood

  • We’re in this together – therapy isn't just something happening to you, it’s something we build together

  • Insight through relationship – what happens between us might help you understand patterns in your life

Integrative

I work from a person-centred foundation which means:

  • You’re at the heart of the process – your thoughts, feelings and experiences guide our work

  • It’s your space – I will meet you where you are, without judgement but with authenticity, care and respect

  • You set the pace – there is no pressure or share anything before you’re ready

For me, working integratively means:

  • I use different approaches – I don’t believe in a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach so I draw from theories such as psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis and CBT to tailor our work to suit you

  • Flexibility – we’ll find the best way forward together, using what works for you as an individual

  • You are a whole person – we look at your thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, and life experiences, not just one part

Initial Consultation

A free-of-charge phone or video call lasting approximately 20 minutes prior to starting our work together.

This is not a therapy session but an informal chat where we can get to know one another and explore whether we might be the right fit to work together.

There is absolutely no obligation to work together following the initial consultation.

If you are interested, please get in touch.

Online Counselling/Psychotherapy

£50 per session.

Sessions typically last 50 minutes and are scheduled to best fit both of our availabilities and will be held as a regular slot for you.

I may have some reduced-rate slots available for those experiencing financial difficulty or student counsellors.

Please get in touch if this may apply to you.

Wellbeing Days and Workshops for Organisations

I offer tailored mental health workshops designed to support employee wellbeing, build emotional resilience, and foster healthier workplace cultures. These sessions offer practical tools and open, engaging conversations that help teams better understand and manage mental health.

In addition to group workshops, I also offer on-site wellbeing days, where staff can access confidential 1:1 counselling sessions throughout the day. This provides a valuable space for individuals to talk, reflect, and receive personalised support.

Whether you're looking to reduce burnout, improve communication, or build a more supportive culture, these services can make a lasting impact on your team’s wellbeing and your organisation’s success.
